About This Page
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you strong rights over your personal data. Even though we are based in Australia, we respect and follow GDPR rules for all our users. This page explains your rights and how to use them.
Data Controller
The data controller for this website is:
- Company: hyperechos.com
- Address: 40 Lonsdale Street, Frankston VIC 3199, Australia
- Contact email: support@hyperechos.com
As the data controller, we decide how and why your personal data is processed. We take this role seriously and are committed to protecting your rights.
Your GDPR Rights in Detail
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights. We honour each one.
1. Right of Access (Article 15)
You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you. You can request a copy of this data at any time. We will provide it in a clear, readable format within 30 days of your request.
How to use this right: Send an email to support@hyperechos.com with the subject line "Data Access Request". Include your full name and the email address you used on our site.
2. Right to Correction (Article 16)
If any of your data is wrong or incomplete, you can ask us to fix it. We will correct the data as quickly as possible, usually within 7 days.
How to use this right: Email us at support@hyperechos.com with the subject "Data Correction Request". Tell us what data needs to be changed and what the correct information is.
3. Right to Deletion (Article 17)
Also called the "right to be forgotten". You can ask us to delete all your personal data. We will remove it from our active systems within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 90 days.
When this applies:
- You no longer want us to process your data.
- You withdraw your consent.
- We no longer need the data for the original purpose.
- The data was processed unlawfully.
How to use this right: Email support@hyperechos.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
4. Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18)
You can ask us to limit how we use your data. This means we will store it but not process it further. This applies when:
- You dispute the accuracy of your data (while we check it).
- Processing is unlawful, but you prefer restriction over deletion.
- We no longer need the data, but you need it for legal claims.
- You have objected to processing (while we verify our grounds).
How to use this right: Email support@hyperechos.com with the subject "Restrict Processing Request".
5. Right to Data Portability (Article 20)
You can ask us to give you your data in a structured, common, machine-readable format (such as CSV or JSON). You can also ask us to send your data directly to another service, where this is technically possible.
How to use this right: Email support@hyperechos.com with the subject "Data Portability Request". Tell us your preferred format.
6. Right to Object (Article 21)
You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time. This is especially relevant for:
- Direct marketing (including push notifications).
- Processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Processing for research or statistical purposes.
When you object to direct marketing, we will stop immediately. For other objections, we will stop unless we have strong legitimate grounds that override your rights.
How to use this right: Email support@hyperechos.com with the subject "Objection to Processing".
How to Withdraw Consent
If you gave us consent to process your data (for example, by signing up to our waitlist), you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect any processing done before you withdrew.
Ways to withdraw consent:
- Email: Send a message to support@hyperechos.com asking to withdraw consent.
- Push notifications: Use your browser settings to block notifications from this site. You can also unsubscribe through the notification itself.
- Cookies: Use the cookie consent banner (appears when you first visit) or clear cookies in your browser settings.

- Clearing all cookies for this site in your browser, then refreshing the page. The consent banner will appear again.
- Using your browser's privacy settings to block or delete specific cookies.

Response Times
We aim to respond to all GDPR requests within 30 days. If a request is complex, we may need up to 60 days. We will let you know within the first 30 days if we need more time.
Complaints
